Band Booster Meeting - Next Tuesday (3/9) at 7:00pm
There will be a BA Band Booster Club Meeting Next Tuesday (3/9) at 7:00pm in the BAHS Field House. At this meeting there will be a great deal of new info to launch us into to the Spring Semester and beyond. Some topics include:
  • - Spring Concert Ensemble performances and events
  • - Jazz Ensemble update
  • - Percussion Ensemble Virtual Concert plans
  • - Indoor Percussion update
  • - 2021 Pride Training Sessions: Color Guard and Horn Line
  • - 2021 Pride Audition Schedule

2021 PRIDE INFORMATION
We are very excited to move into the training season for the auditions of the 2021 Pride of Broken Arrow! With so much time that we’ve been “off,” it will be exciting to ‘get the gang back together’ and begin prepping for an incredible return to full activities for the Pride of Broken Arrow (within existing COVID protocols). The following are items of note:

Color Guard
Color Guard training concludes this week with our Auditions begin THIS Thursday! Note: students must attend all audition sessions.

Horn Line

Horn Line NOTES:
- Parent must be present on Tuesday, March 9 for Pride members to check out a school owned instrument. IF it is not possible for a parent to attend, a SPECIAL parent consent must be received prior to instrument being issued. Also, the $35 User fee is required for Instrument pick up. The $35 User fee is a one-time fee that effects the duration of the Pride season (March 2021 - May 2022).
- Horn Line Music Audition applies to potential first year members ONLY. Returning veteran’s are not required to submit a Pride Music Audition


Percussion
The Pride percussion section will audition after the conclusion of the Indoor Percussion season. Auditions will take place for the percussion section on May 3 & 4.

Band Parent Meetings have been moved due to facilities issues to March 9th at 7:00pm.

Also if you are interested in being on the Booster Club Board please fill out the application and send it to BABandPResident@gmail.com. Application was sent in the last charms email that went out on Monday, March 9th.

Please check spam filters on emails that are coming out via charms especially if you have a XXXX@cox.net.

We have moved to charms so please make sure all information in charms is correct. We imported information from CUTTIME into Charms.

Car Show
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the car show. We were able to increase what we made over last year and with all of the curveballs 2020 threw us all the way up to the day of the car show I am very pleased with what we accomplished. Thanks to Frankie Catlett and Walmart for graciously allowing us to host the car show and our vendors and sponsors that came and provided services and prizes to giveaway to allow us to raise money for our kids and this first class band program.

You can acquire the permit online and it only takes a few minutes to complete. The 2020 Street Signs and 2020 Show Coasters have arrived! These items will be available for pick-up at the March parent meeting.

We will also schedule a separate pick-up event for those that cannot make the March parent meeting. Stay tuned to eNews and Facebook for a schedule announcement as we get closer.

Indoor Percussion show shirt/hoodie pre-order is underway. Order forms were handed out to IP participants and can also be made online (Pride Store online). Please return order forms to the band office by Wednesday, 3 March or place online orders by 6PM CST 3rd March. We do not plan to order extras, so please get your order in if you want a shirt or hoodie.

Please remember, orders placed online are for pick-up only. The Pride Store does not ship items.
