BA Band Concerts THIS WEEK at the BAPAC!
Our first full band concert of the year is NEXT WEEK! Due to COVID 19 precautions and social distancing guidelines, our concerts will be divided into SEPARATE CONCERT EVENTS. A separate ticket is required for each concert event.

HS Band Concert 1 - 6:30pm (Tues, Apr 6)

NOTE: Parents must have a ticket to attend the concert. To allow all parents an opportunity to attend their child’s performance, PLEASE only request a ticket for the event that your child is performing in.


How to obtain Tickets for the Band Concerts
TICKETS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE PAC
  • -Reserved tickets are REQUIRED for each person attending. Tickets are FREE while supplies last.
  • -Social Distancing will be maintained in the theatre
  • -Masks are REQUIRED in the building as well as in the theatre DURING the performances
  • -Parents can call or come by the PAC Box Office to get their reserved tickets.
  • -Box Office hours are M-F 9am-4:30pm (Closed for lunch from 12-12:30pm)
  • -918-259-5778 / 701 S Main Street, BA 74012
  • -Tickets will NOT be available the evening of the concerts. All tickets must be reserved no later than 4:30pm on the day of the concert
  • -Tickets are NOT available to reserve online

Broken Arrow Concert Band Festival THIS Thursday - 4/8
Each of the HS wind bands (BAHS & Freshman Academy) will appear in the Broken Arrow Concert Band Festival on Thursday, April 8. Refer to itinerary - AVAILABLE HERE - that have been distributed by your student's band director. Unfortunately, the performances are closed and not open to the public. This educational performance and clinic will feature a special event for our Broken Arrow Concert Bands in this unique performance festival.


OBA Concert Band Festival THIS Friday - 4/9
The HS Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band 1 will participate in next week’s OBA / BOA Regional Concert Band Festival. This educational performance and clinic will feature many bands from the region in this unique performance festival. The itineraries will be sent out to students in the HS Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band 1 later this week.

2021 PRIDE INFORMATION
We are very excited to move into the training season for the auditions of the 2021 Pride of Broken Arrow! With so much time that we’ve been “off,” it will be exciting to ‘get the gang back together’ and begin prepping for an incredible return to full activities for the Pride of Broken Arrow (within existing COVID protocols). The following are items of note:


Horn Line

Horn Line auditions have concluded. We are pleased to announce the membership of the 2021 edition of the Pride of Broken Arrow Horn Line. This is going to be an amazing group; ALL sections are looking VERY strong for this season!! Thank you to all who participated in the Auditions. A complete listing can be found on the Pride’s website at www.BrokenArrowPride.com. Rehearsal info, and upcoming meetings will be sent out this week. The first meeting of the Pride Horn Line is tentatively set for Thursday, April 15 from 5:00-7:00pm. Stay tuned for much more info. Go Pride!



Percussion
The Pride percussion section will audition after the conclusion of the Indoor Percussion season. Auditions will take place for the percussion section on May 3 & 4.

We were excited to receive multiple applications for board positions, including some who simply said “Plug me in wherever I’m needed”. This organization is blessed to have amazing volunteers!

Dine out this Tuesday March 23rd at Whataburger here in BA from 5-8pm. Be sure to share the event to help us spread the word.

We are doing a Mattress Sale Fundraiser again this year. The date is May 15th from 10am-4pm. Last year we made over $9,000.00 (in a pandemic) This fundraiser is great for both overall fundraising and Individual Account Fundraising. More information is coming!!!

Your sharing events on your facebook and other social media is sooooo important. So please don't just like events.. Be sure to share them!!
