-Directors Notes-

Indoor Percussion
A note from Mr. Wiencken:
As this will be the last communication to the 2021 edition of Broken Arrow Indoor Percussion, I am reflecting on our 2021 season gleaming with pride. The students heroically rose to the occasion and pulled off another incredibly strong production, continuing the excellence and legacy of our young program.

Considering all of the factors related to mother nature and COVID, the achievement level exceeded all our expectations- the students are to be commended! With a return rate next year upwards of 90% of the ensemble, both the immediate and long-term future of the ensemble is very bright. I am excited to see the next version of this ensemble be able to step onto the state and national stage to continue to elevate the performance level of our group- it will be here before you know it!

The reaction to the 2021 program from both local and national judges has been incredibly positive, as we have advanced to the WGI Virtual Finals for 2021! You can still catch our performance on FloMarching through Sunday evening.

I want to thank all the students, staff, parents, and volunteers who support our endeavors throughout the year- without you, this experience for the students does not happen! Thank you for your tireless work, energy, and sacrifice for the greater good to provide our students the best performance experience possible. I look forward to the upcoming Fall and next Winter to watch our students continue to blossom as young adults and performers, and I look forward to speaking with all of you regarding our 2022 WGI season at our informational meeting in October- the work behind the scenes has already started :).
