-Directors Notes-

The Broken Arrow Invitational - THANK YOU!

The volunteer efforts of our parents and students are truly what made this event so successful, despite the limited numbers of participating bands. The overwhelming feedback that we have received from the band directors has shown their excitement for how professional the event is run and how kind and friendly our parent and student volunteers are to our visitors. That is FANTASTIC! Thank you to all that were involved in producing this first class event.

It’s time to celebrate an amazing milestone in the history of the Pride of Broken Arrow! At halftime of the Homecoming Football game on Thursday, October 14th we will honor the members of the DESTINY 2011 Grand National Champion Band! It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since Broken Arrow won its Second Grand National Championship! All members of 2011 Destiny Pride are cordially invited to join us in Broken Arrow on October 14th. Events will include: halftime recognition of the 10 year anniversary of the 2011 Grand National Championship, Join the current Pride in the Band Stand for the 2nd half of the football game, and a post game reception with a viewing of the 2011 "Destiny Leaves You No Choice" performance from Grand National Finals! …

All DESTINY members that are able to attend will meet at the North End Zone at the beginning of halftime and be recognized before the 2021 Pride performs at halftime. During the second half of the game we encourage you to come to the band stand and visit with each other and say hi to the band. After the game, there will be a reception in the new Field House Lobby with refreshments followed by a viewing of the 2011 Grand National Finals Performance of DESTINY LEAVES YOU NO CHOICE! This should be a GREAT night!
