What an AMAZING WEEK OF REHEARSALS!
The staff and I are so impressed with the commitment of the Pride members in this week’s rehearsals. The quality of the show design and performance skills have both been dramatically elevated this week. The members and staff are so excited for this final week of the competitive season and are eager to push our performances to the highest levels of quality that are possible. This is going to be a fun and exciting week!


All District and All State Auditions
Congratulations to all students that auditioned at the NBDA/OMEA event. We are very proud of the efforts of these talented students. Also, a special THANK YOU to all of the parent and student volunteers that help organize and run the All-District/State auditions! The following are dates of note relating to All District (NBDA) and All State (OMEA) Band.
  • December 4 - Final Round Auditions for All State at Westmoore HS
  • January 7 & 8 - NBDA All District Band Clinic and Concert at Bartlesville HS
  • January 19-22 - OMEA All State Band Clinic and Concert at Tulsa PAC

Pride Send Off Dress Rehearsal for Grand Nationals - TUESDAY NIGHT!
The Pride Send Off Dress Rehearsal will be THIS Tuesday, November 9. This will be an excellent opportunity to see the Pride’s show “The Edge of Eternity" before they depart for the BOA Grand National Championship in Indianapolis, IN. The Pride will, once again, sponsor this event as a benefit to BA Neighbors. Admission fee for the event is a canned food or non-perishable food item. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to our Broken Arrow community. The gates will open at 8:15 and access to the Grand Stand seating will open at 8:30pm and the program will begin at approximately 8:45pm. We will once again sponsor this event as a benefit to BA Neighbors. Bring a canned food item and come out and watch the Pride. Invite your friends!


BOA Grand Nationals Preliminary Performance Time Confirmed
The Grand National Preliminary Schedule has been finalized and performance times confirmed. The Broken Arrow Pride will perform in the BOA Grand National Preliminary contest on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT 8:45AM Eastern Time (7:45am Central Time)


Sounds of the Stadium - Pride PAC Concert
Join us in for a truly unique experience — Sounds of the Stadium on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:00pm! This concert will feature the full Pride of Broken Arrow performing all your favorites that they perform at football games, only this time in the confines of the The Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center! It’s going to be loud and it’s going to be a blast!

The season has started!  There is a lot happening behind the scenes, and even more will be coming soon.  Make sure you find your place to plug in and be an active part of this wonderful organization.  You'll be glad you did!

As we start ramping up for the new season, there will be a lot of important information to communicate. Make sure you have your Charms account set up. Please check with Mrs. Good if you have any issues. Just a reminder, Charms is our primary means of communication. Please rely on this source rather than various social media groups for the most accurate information.

We will celebrate our senior class during the game this Friday.  Seniors and immediate families only are invited to a senior reception following sounds of the stadium on November 16th at the First United Methodist Church activities building.

SPONSORSHIPS: We are looking for corporate sponsors for the 2021 season. If you know of a business or person who might like to sponsor BA Bands and the Pride, please let us know at the email above. We have many different levels and ways to be a Pride sponsor. We have forms we will send to you or to the company to begin the process!

SUGGESTIONS: If you have ideas or suggestions please send an email to the address above. We are always looking for new and fun ways to support BA Bands and The Pride. Thank you to those who have already sent us leads; we will continue to follow up on those.

SHARING: Continue to share events on your Facebook and other social media accounts. The Family & Friends FB page is a closed, private page so it does not let you share outside the group. You must save the flyer or image to your device then repost to your own page. The BA Bands FB page is an open page so you should be able to reshare from it.

ONGOING FUNDRAISING:
  • Sign Gypsies benefits both individual and group accounts. See details on Facebook or contact the email above for details. Be sure you tell them thank you for the awesome signs they put up for the Pride Awards Banquet this year.
  • Do you order from Amazon? Did you know you can go through what is called Amazon Smile and pick the Broken Arrow Band Booster Club, Inc. as the non-profit who receives a small percent of every eligible purchase you make. Every little bit counts. If you need help with it, email us at the address above.
CURRENT FUNDRAISING:

  • ALL PAPER RAFFLE TICKETS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TURNED IN BY NOW.  THEY ARE PAST DUE!  We must have them to draw on November 9th at the send off.
  • It is FINALLY here!  We draw this Tuesday.  Watch FB and RallyUp for the winners if you cannot be present.

  • Please go check out and register for this awesome fundraiser/gift opportunity: Board and Brush of Tulsa is offering a chance to GIVE BACK to the Broken Arrow Bands with a fundraiser where 20% of all proceeds come back to the BA Bands. The workshop will be on Sunday, November 28, 2021 2-5pm. They specialize in helping you create beautiful projects on wood in a variety of themes from which you get to choose. Spend a couple hours with friends and family who also love our bands the weekend after Thanksgiving to make great keepsakes. RESTAURANT DINE OUTS:
  • Our Dine Out for late November will be at McAlister’s on Tuesday, November 30. It is for online and carry out orders. See instructions for getting your order’s proceeds donated to the band in the Faceboobk RSVP posting . Be sure to share with others as well.
UPCOMING FUNDRAISING:
  • Window clings/signs for area business or any supporter are still on the agenda for this fall. Stay tuned for that opportunity.
  • We are looking into doing a Christmas gift wrapping event so staty tuned for details.

2021 GoBA, Show Shirt, and Luggage tag orders are now closed. The Store will have a limited number of GoBA and Show Shirts available for sale if you missed the order deadline. Final delivery dates are not yet available, so please stay tuned to Charms for pick-up information.

Order deadlines for 2021 Ornament, Street Signs, and Coasters have been extended to October 1. No additional items will be ordered for these popular items, so please place your order prior to the deadline.

Believe it or not, cooler weather is right around the corner. Make sure your Pride student has warm clothes for cooler rehearsal days and long bus rides. White Pride hoodies are available from the Store. Check out the newly released items in the Online Store. Student requested street clothes - Pride of Broken Arrow sweatshirts / Pride of Broken Arrow Color Guard sweatshirt / Pride of Broken Arrow Jogger Bottoms / Fanny Packs - have recently been added to the Store line-up. Order deadlines do apply, so order yours today!
