2022 PRIDE INFORMATION
We are very excited to move into the auditions of the 2022 Pride of Broken Arrow! With much needed time that we’ve been “off,” it will be exciting to ‘get the gang back together’ and begin prepping for another incredible season for the Pride of Broken Arrow. The following are items of note:

Horn Line
Horn Line will hold auditions NEXT week!
  • - Horn line Visual Audition
    Tuesday, March 29 (6:30-8:30)at BAHS Stadium
  • - Horn line Visual Audition
    Thursday, March 31 (6:30-8:30)at BAHS Stadium
  • - Horn line Visual Audition
    Friday, April 1 (6:30-8:30)at BAHS Stadium
  • - Horn line Music Audition
    Virtual Submission by April 1 (Veterans do not need to submit a music audition)

Horn Line NOTES:
  • - Horn Line Music Audition applies to potential first year members ONLY. Returning veteran’s are not required to submit a Pride Music Audition
  • - Music Auditions must be submitted in the Canvas “Pride Audition Class” using the media recorder no later than 11:50pm on Friday (April 1)
  • - Horn Line Visual auditions will be at the BAHS Stadium on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday NEXT week.
  • - Students must provide their own transportation to and from BAHS Memorial Stadium
  • - Horn Line students should bring their band instrument, wear a white T shirt, and be ready to learn a lot and have fun.
  •  - Students must attend all 3 Visual session this week (Tuesday, Thursday AND Friday)

Percussion
The Pride percussion section will audition after the conclusion of the Indoor Percussion season. Auditions will take place for the percussion section in May.

Spring High School Band Trip for Symphonic Band 2 & Concert Band
We are excited that the HS Symphonic Band 2 and Concert Band will take a trip to Branson, MO to perform in the Heartland Music Festival AND spend time at Silver Dollar City. This will be a 1 day trip to Branson and back to BA all in the same day on Saturday, May 7. Fundraising opportunities are available to assist students in making their monthly payments. Please contact our BABBC Fundraising Chair at BABandFundraising@gmail.com for more information. The band trips are as follows:

Band Scholarships - Applications Now Available
The BA Bands are pleased to now offer THREE SCHOLARSHIPS to a Broken Arrow High School Seniors who are current members of the BA Bands and plan to enter an institution of higher education. The CAROL DAVIS, PARIS YORK and KEN GRASS Memorial Scholarships are each Scholarships of $1,000.00 may be utilized to cover the costs of tuition, books, fees or other expenses while attending an institution of higher education. The application form is an online form and is due in the band office by April 30. Supplemental materials are to be submitted to Mrs. Good in the Band Office.

NDOOR PERCUSSION
WGPO Contest @ BAHS | Saturday, March 26th, 2022
We will be hosting the WGPO Circuit Contest at BAHS on Saturday, March 26th; this event is our largest fundraiser for Broken Arrow Indoor, and this year's event is looking to be the largest yet with over 60 groups in attendance! All BA Indoor members will be assigned to a volunteer shift to assist the contest, and the sign-up for all parent volunteers has already been emailed out to all. We will have a parent volunteer meeting in the BAHS Band Room on Thursday, March 24th at 7:00 PM.

BA Indoor Schedule for the day:
7:30 AM: Rehearsal Begins (All)
9:00 AM: Rehearsal Concludes
9:30 AM: Doors Open
10:00 AM: Contest Begins
12:00 PM: Change into Uniform
12:42 PM: Warm Up (Area "B")
1:02 PM: Transit
1:07 PM: Gate/Ready
1:10 PM: Broken Arrow Indoor PERFORMANCE
1:20 PM: Fold Floor, Change
8:30 PM: Contest Concludes/Awards
