High School & Freshman Academy Band Return from Branson
Congratulations to the students from the Freshman Academy and the High School who participated in the Heartland Music Festival in Branson, MO this past weekend! All five bands gave great performances earning Sweepstakes Awards while the Freshman Academy Wind Ensemble earned the top award for the day! The students spent the rest of the day having a blast at Silver Dollar City! Thank you to the parent volunteers, bus drivers, and truck drivers that made the trip possible!

2022 PRIDE INFORMATION

Horn Line
Itâ€™s time for the 2022 Pride Horn Line to begin their rehearsals and training for the 2022 season! Mark your calendars for the following rehearsal and training sessions (required):

May 13 - Friday 5:00-8:00pm

Color Guard
Color Guard rehearsals have already started. Mandatory Summer Camp will begin no earlier than July 20. All Summer Vacations must be completed by this date.

Pride Percussion Auditions - THIS WEEK
Congratulations to the members of the 2022 Pride of Broken Arrow Percussion section! All members of the 2022 Pride Percussion section will need to fill out the following Google Form by this Friday, May 13th to schedule summer rehearsals before Band Camp starts on Monday, July 25th.

Pride Drum Major Candidate Meeting - May 11
All Potential Drum Major Candidates will have a meeting on Wednesday, May 11 at 3:30pm in the HS Band Hall. In order to qualify, you must be a Junior or Senior for the 2022-2023 school year, performed in the 2021 Pride, and be a member in good standing.

BA Band Booster Club Meeting May 17 - REQUIRED MEETING
The next BA Band Booster Club Meeting will be at the BA PAC on Tuesday, May 17 at 7:30pm. (NOTE: Time is changed to accommodate another band event) The meeting will serve as the official â€˜kick offâ€™ to the 2022 season and much of the meeting will be devoted to information about the 2022 Pride of Broken Arrow.

Broken Arrow Jazz Bands
AUDITIONS for the 2022-23 Broken Arrow Jazz 1 Ensemble will be held Tuesday, May 17th from 3:30-4:30 PM at BAHS. Audition materials will be available Tuesday, May 4th at both the BAFA and BAHS Band Rooms.
