Pride Band Banquet Date - Save the Date!
The Pride Banquet will be held on Friday, March 27th at the Tulsa Renaissance Hotel. Ticket sales will begin at this week's Band Parent Meeting. Each member will receive a free ticket and all family and friends may purchase tickets for $38 each beginning at the Band Parent Meeting on February 10.


Jr. High All District Band Honor Bands
Congratulations to each of our 100+ HS All District Band members that performed in their concert this past Saturday. It is truly remarkable to witness the commitment and dedication of these dedicated band musicians. We are extremely proud of you.


2015 Colorguard Training Sessions
All current color guard members and prospective guard members will begin their training sessions and rehearsals on Friday, February 20 at the HS Band Hall and Gymnasiums from 5:00-8:00pm. Wear comfortable black attire. $30 instructional / participation fee. Sessions run each Friday night until auditions on April 10 (excluding Spring Break and March 27 for the Pride Banquet).  Check out the poster and head to our website for the full list of dates.

OSSAA Solo and Ensemble Contest - March 7
The OSSAA Solo and Ensemble Contest is on Saturday, March 7 at Sapulpa HS. Students will meet at the HS Band Hall to take school transportation to and from the event. Performance times have not been published yet by the OSSAA.


Next Band Parent Meeting This Week
Our next band parent meeting will be on Tuesday, February 10 in the High School Band Hall at 7:00pm.


Indoor Percussion
Rehearsal Schedule for the week:

Tuesday, 2/17: 5-8 PM (with Guard)
Friday, 2/20: 5-8 PM
Saturday, 2/21: 9 AM-1 PM (with Guard)

Colorguard Training / Auditions
The Broken Arrow Pride is holding training and auditions for Color Guard. There will be six training sessions each Friday beginning February 20th, from 5pm-8pm. Auditions will be held on April 10th and 11th . Cost is $30 payable on the first day. Training and auditions are open to all students grades 8-11. Students should arrive wearing black comfortable clothes suitable for dance. NO previous experience or training is necessary! VETERANS are required to attend training sessions.


Concessions
Concessions will not open on Feb16th. Conformations will be sent out to those signed up for the game on Thursday Feb 19th by Tuesday evening.

Special Events
Run with the Pride- We’re planning on moving the run to September this year to avoid other events that conflict with the run in the spring. We’ll have a date to announce soon.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to be on the planning committee to help find sponsors for food and monetary sponsors. We need to get that process started early. Sponsors are a big part of making the run a success. If you would like to be part of the committee please email us at baspecialevents@gmail.com


Marketing Development
We are looking for businesses interested in partnering with BA Bands.  Corporate Partnerships are a great way to invest in the Broken Arrow Band Program.  We have awesome sponsorship packages available with advertising opportunities.  All monies collected through our Partnership Program benefit the General Fund.  This fund helps purchase equipment, instruments, uniforms, etc., which benefits all of our kiddos!

Operations
We have a number of task ahead this spring semester. We will begin a weekly work night beginning February 19th. If you haven’t been involved in Operations, now is a perfect time to come, get acquainted, and see how you can help. We can always use your talents. You will meet some great Ops guys and have a great time supporting BA Bands and The Pride of Broken Arrow. Send an email to baprideoperations@gmail.com to get on the distribution list.
