Pride and Concert Band Instrument Fees PAST DUE
All User Fees that have not been submitted will have that charge deducted from the member's Student Account.

OBA Finals Reserved Tickets
Ticket Requests may be placed beginning Tuesday for OBA Finals Tickets. The BA Band will be able to secure a limited number of tickets in the "BA Section”. Tickets are $10 each and will assigned on a first come, first served basis. Tickets may also be purchased at the stadium on contest day, but can't be guaranteed to be placed in the "BA Section." Place ticket orders with Mrs. Good at the HS Band Office. Tickets will be delivered once we receive them from OBA (typically the week prior to the contest).

From the Finance Office
If you updated your Charms with your personal information and email address, you have received a statement last week. As was mentioned in previous eNews, this is part of the Charms rollover process. All deposits, donations, fundraising, Pride work, and student payments are still in the process of being posted, as well as any incidental charges, user fees, tradition fees, and season trip costs. This is a huge process, and as this is a big season for the Pride, it's busier than normal. We appreciate your patience as we progress.

Indoor Percussion
Be sure to attend Tuesday night's Band Parent Meeting to hear a special announcement regarding the 2017 Broken Arrow Indoor Percussion!

Midwest Clinic
There will be an informational meeting for all parents and students regarding the Percussion Ensemble's trip/performance to the Midwest Clinic in December on Monday, September 19th from 6:30-7:00 in the Band Hall. Details regarding trip itinerary, fees, and other trip related items will be discussed; we will see you there!

PRESIDENTS
St. Louis Super Regional Tickets
Javon Sixsmith is going to order a block of tickets so that we can have a big group of Pride fans sitting together for finals. You have 2 options: Super Tickets are $52 and include a general admission prelims ticket and a reserved finals seat that will be up high and in the two center sections. Or you can order a reserved finals ticket only for $30 and will be located one section over from the 2 center sections. (If you buy a finals ticket only, you can buy your prelims ticket at the stadium when you arrive.) $1 has been added to the ticket price to cover the S&H fee that BOA charges but, depending on how many tickets are ordered, there may be a little extra money that will be donated to the Rose Parade Fund. This will be the only opportunity to be included in this block of tickets and money is due at the parent meeting Tuesday night.

FUNCTIONS

Notaries Needed for Tuesday nights band parent meeting. If you are a notary and would be willing to help with our volunteer forms, please send an email to bafunctions@gmail.com.

Special Diets / Medical Conditions  Please fill out the form at THIS LINK.

You are responsible for tracking and submitting your own volunteer hours, except for large events, where you sign-in. If you are unsure as to whether or not your hours are tracked at a certain activity, ask the coordinator. CHARMS is used to not only check your student’s account balance, but is also where we track our volunteer hours. It is also important to update your family information in Charms. For directions on how to do both CLICK HERE.

ROSE PARADE FUNDRAISING

MOONLIGHT & ROSES, FUNDRAISING GALA
I cannot express enough my gratitude to all of you who helped make the gala a huge success! It’s amazing how our organization comes together in support of our kids. I heard several people comment on how awesome our basket selection was! The centerpieces were lovely and really helped create the atmosphere.

Postcards
WE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING AN AMAZING OUTPOURING OF DONATIONS! List will be available at the band parent meeting for those who have received donations. Please come early to see if your child has received donations. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU MAIL THANK YOUS TO ALL YOUR DONORS. A HANDWRITTEN THANK YOU BY THE KIDS GOES A LONG WAY TO SHOW YOUR GRATITUDE.

Some parents have indicated that the postcards have not reached some of their friends and family. We have been working with the post office to correct delivery errors. There are also some cards that have come back undeliverable due to lack of forwarding address. I will compile a list and attach it to the next issue of eNews.

IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERN THAT YOUR POSTCARDS HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED Please email your friends and family a link to the YouTube GoSupportMe video.

There are still some postcards left over. They will be available at the September Band Parent Meeting. If you did not submit your names or if you have additional people you would like to send them to, you are welcome to pick them up then.

HERE IS AN UPDATED LIST OF POSTCARDS THAT WERE RETURNED UNABLE TO FORWARD.  CLICK HERE.

RUN WITH THE PRIDE
Our 3rd Annual Run with the Pride will be Saturday, November 12th. It will be a 20K Relay, 5K, & 1 mile Fun Run. Every member will be required to sign up 5 runners for the event, so start talking to friends and family. Pride Students are required to run the event, but they do not have to pay the registration fee. Even Mr. Davis will be running, and he is NOT a runner. :) This has always been a fun event for the kids and the community. We are really looking forward to it.
