PRESIDENTS

Thank you Volunteers!
The organization couldn’t be successful without the tremendous support of parents and other supporters. Reminder: Each parent is expected to work in concessions for at least one home football game. If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so today! It’s fun, and you can spend time getting to know other parents in the organization.


CUT TIME

Special Diets this year will be in accordance with school policy. If your student has a medical condition or a religious reason for needing a special diet, please send these requests along with documentation to babandvp@gmail.com or they can be given to Ms. Good. If sending an email please put special diet -student name in the subject of the email.

Our first feeding will be this Friday before the Union game. Chick-fil-a is providing a sandwich box. A special diet meal can only be provided if you let us know there is a need.

Game day reminders. This Friday after school all Pride members will have rehearsal, be fed dinner in the cafeteria, then will change into uniform and load buses for Union. Immediately following rehearsal, water and ice will be available under the stadium to fill water jugs. Please make sure all students have their water jugs, as this will be their only source of water during the game.


SPECIAL EVENTS

Golf Tournament -
Unfortunately, we have been forced to postpone the golf tournament at this time. We will be updating the event as we work through the details for a future date.

BAI -
The Broken Arrow Invitational is quickly approaching. This event will be held at the BAHS Stadium on October 5th, 2019. We will need several volunteers that day for multiple shifts. Please mark your calendars and sign up as soon as you can so we can make sure we have plenty of support as we invites schools from OK and surrounding states to join us for a top tier competition event.

concession volunteers are needed for the 8th-JV games in September.

We need 50-60 more volunteers for the Owasso game on the 13th.

BA BANDS DISCOUNT CARDS
We are still offering BA Bands Discount Cards.  Cards sell for $12 each with $9 going to individual accounts.  Payments must be made upfront when cards are picked up (cash or check only)  Discounts from smokies, Los Mariachis, Happy Plate, Forest Ridge, Wild Meadows, Cicis, Pride Store, and many more!

Popcorn Fundraiser is happening now!
We will collect the orders and money the first week of SeptemberThere is still time to if you want to sell popcorn, if you need the form send a email to the fundraising email and we will Popcorn sells for $15.00 per gal jug and $7.50 per jug will go into the student account. If you have any questions please let us know.

CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER - We will have chocolate available this week!  Keep an eye out on the Facebook group for a pickup time this week!  Chocolate will be available for purchase at the Tuesday band parent meeting at 6:00pM before the meeting and again after the meeting ends.  Remember, it is $60 per box paid upfront, with half of that going into your child's account.  Cash/checks for payment only please. Important to remember - if you turn in money from selling chocolate, please mark it as a band payment so that it gets posted correctly; you will have already paid the profit upfront. Exciting times! Show orders are being placed this week so we will have them ready to hand out at the BABBC Parent Meeting on Monday, October 7th before Pride leaves for Orlando.

Most show preorders have closed but decals (window, jug and koozie), embroidery patches, ornaments and STREET SIGNS still available to preorder. We have secured a new vendor for Street Signs. They will be $30 (personalized or not, it is the same) and available to preorder until October 1st. We’d like to have them back by the November meeting so they can be Christmas gifts.

We will have the Pride Store open before and after the parent meeting on September 12th at 6 and then again after. Pride Family, soft-shell jackets, koozie, jug and window decals, personalized gear and in-store orders will all be available. Show items will not.
